Job summary

George Weston Foods is seeking reliable Process Workers for permanent full-time roles in Canberra, ACT. This hands-on position supports production, packaging and quality control in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, with day and afternoon shifts and full training provided.

Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift 15–20 kg, stand for long periods, and work safely.

Qualifications

About the Role We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Process Workers to join our production team on day and afternoon shift. These are full-time positions offering stable, ongoing employment. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment, responsible for supporting the production, packaging and quality control of our products.

Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting on the production line with packing and preparing products
• Operating equipment (full training provided)
• Working with raw and cooked meat products in a temperature‑controlled environment
• Completing basic manual handling tasks, including lifting and repetitive movements
• Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets
