Job summary

Synergie Group is hiring a Process Worker for a busy Adelaide manufacturing plant. This full-time casual role offers hours from 7 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, with a view to permanency.

You will work alongside skilled professionals to produce quality products and maintain a safe, efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to read instructions, and able to pass a drug and alcohol test.

Qualifications

• Physical fitness to handle weights and manual tasks.
• Good reading and numeracy to understand instructions.
• Commitment to safety and WHS procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to pass an instant drug & alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Fill liquid and/or powder finished items as per work orders.
• Follow work instructions and ensure correct packaging materials.
• Maintain or exceed hourly filling targets and meet specs.
• Operate filling equipment for accurate filling and use company work savers.
• Assist with training staff and report safety issues promptly.
• Pack from production line and maintain cleanliness.

Your responsibilities:

• Achieve hourly fill rates for assigned duties.
• Complete finished goods to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Duties:

• Fill liquid and/or powder finished items as per issued work orders.
• Follow relevant work instructions and ensure correct packaging materials are used.
• Maintain or exceed hourly filling targets and meet product specifications.
• Competently use filling equipment for accurate filling and operate company work savers.
• Assist with training staff as needed and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Packing from production line.
• Adhere to WHS procedures at all times.
• Accurately complete fill and cleaning sheets.

• Physical fitness to handle and lift weights involved in tasks.
• Sound literacy and numeracy skills to read and understand instructions accurately.
• A strong appreciation of safe working practices and occupational health and safety requirements.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• The ability to pass an instant drug & alcohol test (urine & breathalyser).
