Job summary

EnerMech invites applications for Process Technician roles in offshore environments across Australia. You will operate and monitor pumping and hydrotesting equipment, supporting pipeline flushing and testing tasks while complying with permit-to-work and HSE requirements.

Casual positions available; candidates must have offshore oil and gas experience and current BOSIET/FOET with CA-EBS, plus willingness to undergo background checks. Bass Strait experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Join EnerMech's Offshore Operations Team

EnerMech is seeking experienced Process Technicians for upcoming offshore projects across Australia's offshore oil and gas sector. These casual positions offer the opportunity to work on challenging offshore operations while supporting critical pipeline commissioning, flushing, cleaning and pressure testing activities.

With multiple project scopes scheduled, successful candidates will have the opportunity to join our casual workforce pool for future offshore assignments.

About the Role

As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring triplex pumps and/or DHDA pumps during pipeline flushing, cleaning and pressure testing operations.
• Supporting commissioning and process operations in offshore environments.
• Conducting routine equipment inspections and identifying operational issues.
• Assisting with equipment rig-up, testing, maintenance and safe operation activities.
• Working in accordance with permit-to-work systems, procedures, risk assessments and client HSE requirements.
• Maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence at all times.

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Previous offshore oil and gas experience.
• Current BOSIET or FOET certification with CA-EBS.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to work effectively in remote offshore environments.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment and project-specific background checks, including a National Police Clearance.
• Experience operating triplex pumps and hydrotesting equipment.
• Previous experience working in the Bass Strait.
• Agree to complete the required employment background checks such as National Police Clearance

Desirable:

• MSIC Card.
• OEUK Medical Certificate.
