Job summary

ZEISS is a world-leading medical technology company based in Tonsley, South Australia. The Vision Care Rx Operations Team is seeking a Process Technician to support the timely processing and coordination of customer orders in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You will receive, unpack and dispatch orders, identify frame styles, match lenses to frames, and package shipments while ensuring quality and compliance and collaborating with the Lab Manager to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unpack, and dispatch daily orders.
• Sort incoming work into defined production streams.
• Identify frame styles and trace lens dimensions.
• Match lenses with spectacle frames and manage storage allocation.
• Package completed spectacles and prepare shipments.
• Consolidate orders and prepare consignment documentation.
• Follow established systems and processes to meet customer and company requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the Lab Manager and team to meet production targets and resolve issues.
• Maintain compliance with quality management systems and company standards.
• Provide general support across operations as required.
