Aurenne Group Mining is seeking a Process Technician for our Mt. Ida Gold Mine site in Western Australia.
You will be responsible for safely and efficiently recovering gold across the processing plant, from crushing through to tails, with involvement in milling, leaching and CIL processes. You will operate the DCS, monitor plant performance, perform troubleshooting, and conduct regular sampling and handovers.
You know your way around a gold plant. You understand the circuits, know what to look for when things aren’t running as they should, and take pride in getting the best out of a shift.
Now, imagine putting that experience to work at a site where you know the people you work with are going to show up every shift, your contribution is noticed, and you’re part of a team building something for the long term.
You’ll be part of the team responsible for safely and efficiently recovering gold across the processing plant, from crushing through to tails.
Your day-to-day work will include:
Experience operating a skid steer, forklift or telehandler is an advantage.
We’re after someone who understands gold processing beyond simply keeping the plant running. You know how the circuits work together and understand how your decisions can affect recovery, throughput and plant performance.
Most importantly, you’re hands‑on, switched on and proactive. You take ownership of your work, communicate well with your crew and can be relied on to get the job done safely.
Commissioned in May 2023 by GR Engineering Services, our Mt. Ida processing plant is a CIL operation designed around a fine grind of 45 microns to support gold recovery.
With a multiple‑pit feed strategy, the plant is built for flexibility and performance. We need experienced operators who understand the process, recognise when something isn’t right and take pride in running a good plant.
We’re a privately owned, family‑run gold mining company with a straightforward philosophy: think differently, operate differently and reward differently.
We believe a quality operation starts with quality people. That means investing in equipment, creating a good working environment and giving people the opportunity to make a genuine contribution.
You’ll work alongside people who care about the operation, with owners who are involved on site and a team where practical experience counts.
Aurenne is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from women and First Nations people.
Applicants must reside in Western Australia and hold full, valid Australian working rights.
