Job summary

ZEISS is recruiting a Process Technician to join the Vision Care Rx Operations Team in Tonsley, South Australia. The role centers on timely processing and coordination of customer orders within a hands-on manufacturing environment.

You will unpack and dispatch orders, sort work streams, match lenses with frames, prepare shipments, and ensure QA and compliance while collaborating with the Lab Manager to meet production targets and deliver quality customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and dispatch daily orders
  • Sort incoming work into defined production streams
  • Identify frame styles and trace lens dimensions
  • Match lenses with spectacle frames and manage storage allocation
  • Package completed spectacles and prepare shipments
  • Consolidate orders and prepare consignment documentation
  • Follow established systems and processes to meet customer and company requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the Lab Manager and team to meet production targets and resolve issues
  • Maintain compliance with quality management systems and company standards
  • Provide general support across operations as required
