Qualifications

• Degree-qualified engineer in Mechanical, Process or related discipline.
• Experience in food, dairy, or process engineering environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards and design practices.
• End-to-end involvement in a process project from concept/design to commissioning.
• Proficient in computer-based design and documentation systems.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, problem-solving mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to work onsite within Australia.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate design, construction, modification and maintenance of process equipment and systems.
• Develop process schemes, layouts, and specifications for pricing, tendering, and construction.
• Manage and deliver design documentation on time and within budget.
• Monitor and coordinate onsite works, liaising with design teams, contractors, and clients.
• Assess design changes, evaluate cost impacts, and negotiate variations as needed.
• Identify issues early and implement effective engineering solutions.
• Assist with project delivery, client communication, and resource management.
