Job summary

Evolve Scientific in Sydney, Australia, seeks a practical Process Operator to own daily priorities, operate processing equipment and prepare materials for testing. The role is hands-on, independent and requires compliance with safety procedures in a dusty industrial environment within a minerals team.

The ideal candidate will have prior operator experience, a current forklift licence, strong organisation skills and the ability to manage priorities while lifting up to 25 kg.

Qualifications

• Previous machine, process or production operator experience.
• Current forklift licence – essential.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organisation skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Comfortable with repetitive processing and sorting tasks.
• Able to lift about 16–25 kg on occasion.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow procedures.
• Willing to complete government security clearance process.

Responsibilities

• Operate crushing, milling and grinding equipment.
• Sort and prepare materials for further processing.
• Manage your own workload, priorities and turnaround times.
• Receive, move and organise samples within the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift and complete occasional manual handling.
• Maintain accurate sample records and documentation.
• Assist with pilot plant setup when required.
• Follow established safety procedures and SOPs.
