Job summary

Steritech is seeking a full-time Plant Operator to join our team in Australia. The role focuses on safe receipt, movement, processing and dispatch of customer product, with hands-on forklift and warehouse duties.

You will perform data-entry into our systems, complete routine safety checks and maintain compliance with GMP-like standards in a fast-paced environment. A strong safety mindset and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics or regulated manufacturing environment
• Current LF Forklift Licence with practical forklift experience
• Availability to work 12-hour day shifts, including every second weekend
• Ability to follow written procedures and complete records accurately
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
• Demonstrated data-entry skills
• Proven reliability and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Receive customer product and perform quantity, condition and quality checks
• Enter accurate data into the Warehouse Management System
• Operate forklifts to unload, move, stage and load product
• Prepare, label, secure and position loads for processing
• Move and monitor product through warehouse and processing areas
• Support routine plant and processing activities per procedures
• Retrieve samples and dosimeters and complete records
• Prepare processing documentation and dispatch loads
• Perform pre-starts and routine safety checks
• Report equipment or operational issues
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment
• Support shift handovers with the wider Operations team
