Job summary

BlueScope's Western Port Manufacturing facility in Hastings is seeking Team Members (Process Operators) to join our Operations teams. This hands-on role involves working 12-hour rotating shifts across days and nights, supporting safe production and keeping our steel products moving on time.

No prior operations experience is required; we value enthusiasm to learn, teamwork, safety mindset and flexibility with rosters.

Qualifications

• No previous operations experience required; enthusiasm to learn.

Responsibilities

• responsible for processing work with safety as a priority and ensuring high-quality steel products are produced on time
• supporting and promoting a safe working environment
• operating machinery to process and manufacture products
• operating equipment such as forklift and cranes
• packing, strapping, and monitoring products to ensure quality control
