Job summary

Cleanaway Narangba in Queensland, Australia, is seeking a Process Operator to join Australia's leader in sustainable waste management. This permanent full-time role based in Narangba offers 6 am starts, Monday to Friday, with potential for up to 10-hour shifts and penalties for overtime.

Full uniforms and training are provided. You will load/unload packaged waste vehicles, decant, clean, repackage, sample and treat wastes, and perform waste analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience in working in a machine/plant environment.
• Experience operating machinery in an industrial environment.
• Forklift/HR Licence – highly regarded.
• Be fit and healthy as this is a physically demanding role.
• Chemical handling is favourable.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packaged waste vehicles.
• Decant, clean, repackage, store and dispose of packaged waste.
• Sample and treat packaged waste as directed.
• Conduct waste sample analysis.

Process Operator:

• Permanent - Full-time position - Narangba, QLD
• $44.67 per hour + penalties for overtime
• Monday to Friday, 6 am starts
• Available to work up to 10-hour shifts
• Full Uniforms and training provided

The Oils and Technical Services (OTS) division of Cleanaway services much more than your standard collection of household waste. Our team supports the collection, treatment, processing and recycling of liquid and hazardous waste, including industrial waste, paints and oils

Your new role:

• Perform loading and unloading of packaged waste vehicles
• Decant, clean, repackage, store, and dispose of packaged waste
• Sample and treat packaged waste as directed and/or required
• Conduct waste sample analysis
• General site cleaning

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in working in a machine/plant environment preferable
• Experience operating machinery in an industrial environment preferable
• Forklift, Excavator, Loader or HR Licence - Highly regarded
• Experience in waste processing and/or wastewater treatment facilities would be advantageous Be fit and healthy as this is a physically demanding role
• Chemical handling is favourable
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug test
