Karara Mining Limited is seeking capable Process Operators to join our Processing teams at the Karara Mine Site. You will operate and monitor plant equipment, follow operating procedures and maintain safety, quality and environmental standards in a busy mining environment.
The role operates on a full-time 8 days on 6 days off, with 7 nights on 7 days off, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton. Essential: WA C class licence, skid steer/forklift ticket, and proven mining experience.
Karara Mining Limited (KML) is an Ansteel Group company formed as a joint venture with Gindalbie Metals Limited. Ansteel is one of the largest iron ore producers and steel makers in China. Located 200km south-east of Geraldton, Western Australia, Karara is the largest mining operation and the first major magnetite mine in the Mid-West. It produces a premium, high-grade concentrate product for export to steelmakers.

This role requires certain physical demands and exposure to challenging environments that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, work at heights and others exertions associated with manual roles as well as a strong commitment to safety while working in an operational mine site environment.
Working on a Full-time 8 days on 6 days off 7 nights on 7 days off roster, FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton.

Camp Facilities:
Located 200 km south-east of Geraldton in the Shire of Perenjori, Western Australia Karara has an expected mine life of 30+ years. The operation includes a large open pit mine, complex ore processing and beneficiation plant and significant infrastructure and logistics networks. As part of the logistics network Karara owns and operates 80km of railway between Tilley Junction and the Karara mine site, linking the Karara Export Terminal at the Port of Geraldton, able to handle up to 16 Mtpa of export product from a dedicated berth, with associated rail and train unloading infrastructure.
