Job summary

IXOM invites applications for Casual Process Operator roles at our Kwinana site. The positions involve manufacturing ferric sulphate on a 7-day rotating roster with a 40‑hour week, supporting production, dispatch, logistics and maintenance activities.

Successful candidates will have manufacturing or chemical operations experience, strong safety focus, basic computer skills, and may hold a forklift licence. Onboarding and training are provided in a safe team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, chemical processing or related industrial environments.
• Ability to work on a 7-day rotating roster.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office).
• Forklift licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture ferric sulphate in line with production schedules.
• Load and unload trucks and fill bulk containers.
• Operate plant equipment and support bulk dispatch and receival activities.
• Monitor plant performance and report operational issues.
• Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards.
• Participate in incident reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use site systems to manage maintenance, dispatch and safety reporting.
• Work collaboratively to meet customer requirements safely and efficiently.

About Your Role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, we currently have three Casual Process Operator opportunities available at our Kwinana manufacturing site on an initial 6-month contract, with high potential to extend to 12-months.

Working on a 7-day rotating roster (40 hour working week), you will support the safe and efficient operation of our ferric sulphate manufacturing plant. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be involved in production, dispatch, logistics, plant operations and maintenance activities.

This role would suit candidates with experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, production, warehousing, logistics or heavy industry environments.

Who are we looking for?

• Ideally, experience in manufacturing, processing, chemical operations, warehousing, logistics or a related industrial environment
• Forklift licence is highly regarded
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Reliable, hardworking and proactive attitude
