Job summary

W3 Associates Pty in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking a Process Engineer to join its expanding engineering and projects team. You will contribute to process design, project delivery and operational support across water, wastewater and recycled water assets.

Reporting to the Manager - Projects and Engineering, you will work on multiple projects from concept through detailed design to construction, commissioning and ongoing operations, delivering practical, cost‑effective solutions and enhancing plant

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in water, wastewater or recycled water infrastructure.
• Experience across engineering design, construction, commissioning or plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to concept design, detailed engineering and technical documentation.
• Provide technical and operational support to existing water treatment assets.
• Assist with construction, commissioning and project delivery activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant performance, reliability and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, projects and operations teams, as well as external clients.
• Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving skills across water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Work collaboratively with project teams and clients to deliver practical engineering solutions.
