Zusammenfassung

Thales is seeking a Process Engineer for our Benalla site to improve processes across electronics, mechanical and chemical engineering disciplines. You will drive improvements, support process maturity, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Based at Benalla, with work across Pangerang and Yorta Yorta lands, you will implement continuous improvement tools, develop audit programs, and leverage dashboards for decision support to optimise production and repair processes.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree and experience in process engineering or similar roles.
• Extensive knowledge of production and repair processes.
• Extensive knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes and knowledge of industrial management control.
• Basic knowledge of stock management and flow management methodologies.
• Chemical Engineering or Mechanical/Mechatronics background is highly desirable.
• Implementation of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, Gemba Walks, PDCA, TPM).
• Knowledge of production tools, industrial IT & use of dashboards (analysis, decision support).

Aufgaben

• Ensure safety management system compliance with regulations and good industrial practice.
• Develop and facilitate audit programs to assess SMS effectiveness.
• Evaluate HSE impacts of procedures and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare compliance reports for regulatory authorities.
