The role

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Probity Officer to join the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI). In this key role, you will help embed the principles of equity, integrity, transparency, and accountability across the department’s operations and decision-making processes.

As a trusted advisor, you will build strong relationships across the department and with external stakeholders, offering expert guidance to uphold the highest standards of probity and governance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clear, practical advice on probity matters
  • Developing and delivering training programs
  • Monitoring compliance and drafting reports and resources
  • Analysing data to identify trends and recommending solutions to address systemic issues

  • Ability to work autonomously, showing initiative and accountability in managing responsibilities independently.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or demonstrated experience and/or ability in fraud and/or corruption control, probity, corporate governance, risk management or another field relevant to the role.
