Job summary

CSIRO is seeking an Enterprise Risk Advisor to strengthen its enterprise risk management capability within the newly formed Integrity Unit. You will provide expert risk advice across the organisation, promoting a proactive risk culture and supporting risk workshops to safeguard CSIRO’s objectives and reputation.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders at all levels, development of risk processes, and ongoing improvement of risk management practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in risk management, governance, compliance or related field.
• Proven experience in enterprise risk management, identifying and managing strategic, operational and emerging risks.
• Strong understanding of GRC systems; experience with configuration and user support/training.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on identifying, assessing and managing strategic, operational, and emerging risks.
• Support development and review of risk assessment processes and documentation; drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and present risk reports and recommendations to senior management to improve resilience.
• Lead configuration, enhancement and training of the GRC platform to meet evolving needs.
• Monitor risk data trends and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as directed.
