Job summary

Westpac Private Bank in Melbourne seeks a Private Executive to manage a portfolio of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients across Victoria. • Manage a portfolio of High Net Worth and UHNW clients across Victoria with tailored banking and wealth solutions.
• Support clients with complex lending and wealth opportunities, collaborating with specialists.
• Build deep client relationships based on trust, responsiveness and needs-based advice.
• Grow the portfolio by leveraging referral networks and identifying opportunities in the market.
• Collaborate with Private and Westpac Group specialists for a seamless client experience.
• Maintain strong risk and compliance with sound credit judgement.

As a Private Executive, you'll join a team focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for High Net Worth, Ultra High Net Worth and Family Office clients. You'll build meaningful, long-term relationships, partner with specialists across the Group and play a key role in helping clients achieve their personal, family and business goals.

This is a full-time role based in Melbourne / Naarm, Wurundjeri Country.

What will I do?

• Manage a portfolio of High Net Worth, Ultra High-Net-Worth and Family Office clients across Victoria, providing tailored banking, lending and wealth solutions.
• Support clients with complex lending, transactional banking and wealth opportunities, working closely with specialist partners to deliver an integrated client experience.
• Build deep and enduring client relationships based on trust, responsiveness and a strong understanding of client needs.
• Grow your portfolio by deepening existing client relationships, utilising your professional referral networks and identifying new opportunities within the market.
• Collaborate with specialists across Private and the broader Westpac Group to deliver an integrated and seamless client experience.
• Maintain strong risk and compliance disciplines while exercising sound credit judgement.

What do I need?

• Proven success managing and growing relationships with High-Net-Worth clients, family offices, large business owners and professional adviser networks.
• Strong lending capability across consumer lending, with broader business or commercial lending experience highly regarded.
• Sound knowledge of credit policy, risk management and credit decision-making.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with specialists across the bank to achieve great client outcomes
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience and industry qualifications.
• RG146 Tier 1 and Tier 2 accreditation (or a willingness to obtain), with the wealth knowledge and confidence to support sophisticated client conversations and partner effectively with specialist wealth teams.
• A proactive, commercial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver high-quality client outcomes.
