Grant Thornton Australia is seeking a Manager for the Sydney Private Enterprise team (Business Services). You will focus on privately-owned businesses, mentor Associates, and drive a clear pathway toward Partnership while leveraging your business development skills.

In this role you’ll manage daily operations, tax and advisory needs, and collaborate with teams across Australia to deliver practical, high‑impact solutions that reflect our Reach for Remarkable promise.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Business / Commerce / Accounting or equivalent.
• CA/CPA or equivalent accreditation.
• Experience delivering robust strategic projects for private businesses and high-net-worth clients.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership and people-management capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of large privately-owned businesses and coordinate with firm-wide teams.
• Build close client relationships and provide proactive, practical solutions.
• Develop and implement commercial structures to meet client goals.
• Develop and inspire a team of Associates and Senior Associates.
• Engage in business development to grow your portfolio and specialisation.
