We are seeking a privacy and data protection specialist to join Mallesons' Office of General Counsel in Sydney. You will provide strategic, commercially focused advice on privacy, data protection, and related regulatory issues, including AI and cyber security, with a focus on risk management and crisis response.

Based in the Sydney CBD, you will work across advisory and operational aspects, shaping policies and helping mature the firm's privacy framework.

Qualifications

• Experience handling privacy and data protection matters in a large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance on privacy and data protection policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Audit and review existing data protection/privacy policies and practices.
