Job summary

Sodexo Ltd. is recruiting a Chef for HMP Altcourse to supervise and coach prisoners in producing 1200+ meals daily, three times a day, while maintaining safety and quality.

You will oversee food safety, hygiene and allergen awareness, plus stock control and Health & Safety procedures in an industrial catering setting. The role offers a stable 40-hour week and a competitive salary with benefits.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ Level 1 and 2 in food production and cooking
• Industrial catering experience advantageous
• Experience supervising/coaching prisoners or similar challenging environments is desirable

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach prisoners in the production of 1200+ meals daily, three times a day.
• Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen awareness.
• Oversee cleaning procedures, stock rotation and adherence to Health & Safety procedures
