GEO Healthcare is recruiting part-time Primary Mental Health Nurses to support men in Victoria's correctional facilities, including Karreenga and Marngoneet at Lara. The role focuses on delivering high quality mental health care within a prison setting, including risk assessments and ongoing care planning.

Applicants should hold a Post Graduate Diploma of Mental Health, with at least 12 months in mental health in the last 3 years, and be able to work unsupervised.

Qualificações

• Post Graduate Diploma of Mental Health; a minimum of 12 months experience working in mental health over the previous 3 years; ability to work unsupervised in the delivery of primary mental health services.

Responsabilidades

• Provide primary mental health nursing services to people in prison.
• Undertake At Risk assessments for self-harm or suicide risk.
• Conduct primary mental health nurse clinics and review treatment plans.
• Provide a primary mental health consultancy service for nursing staff.
