Job summary

Lycopodium Limited is recruiting for Principal/Technical Mechanical Engineers to join our Brisbane team. This emerging leadership role focuses on delivering accurate design deliverables and supervising mechanical drawing production in line with project and regulatory standards.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will review drawings, perform calculations, and liaise with clients and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or the equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years' post graduate experience in Mineral Processing in a mechanical capacity desired.
• Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with clients, vendors and co-workers.
• Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and knowledge across a broad range of disciplines.
• Proven time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Providing proficient and accurate design input for the production of mechanical drawings.
• Conducting timely reviews of Project mechanical drawings to achieve full compliance with design intent.
• Performing accurate engineering design and calculations in accordance with Project, Client and regulatory standards.
• Interpreting engineering drawings, documents, specifications and scopes.
• Identifying scope variations and prepare relevant documentation accordingly.
• Ensuring correctly specified equipment is sourced to meet project deliverables.

Lycopodium is currently recruiting for Principal/Technical Mechanical Engineers to join our growing team in Brisbane. This emerging leadership role has been established to align with the company’s strategic growth objectives.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Principal/Technical Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, professional and compliant design deliverables using Company approved systems and procedures.
