Job summary

MRI Software is seeking an experienced Principal Technical Consultant to join our Professional Services team in Sydney. This customer-facing role leads the technical delivery of enterprise software implementations, integrations, workflow automation and AI to maximize customer value.

You will collaborate with Sales Engineers, Project Managers, Product teams, and Consultants to design scalable, secure solutions and drive adoption of new capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years' experience in technical consulting or sales engineering.
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, and data migration.
• Strong data integration and analysis capabilities including SQL, ETL processes, XML/JSON, stored procedures, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical delivery with leadership and mentoring responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Technical delivery of customer implementations and transformation projects.
• Technical leadership and mentorship to MRI resources.
• Design AI-enabled future-state workflows that improve efficiency, value and customer experience.
• Analyse customer business processes and recommend automation opportunities to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Conduct technical workshops and collaborate directly with customer stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of new capabilities across the organisation, ensuring initiatives align with business priorities and deliver measurable value
• Review solution designs to ensure quality, scalability, security, and alignment with architectural standards.
• Support project estimation, solution planning, and implementation governance.
• Act as a key connection between customer, delivery teams and product, clearly communicating capabilities, limitations and best practices.
