About our school
St William's School is a Catholic Primary School in the north-western suburb of Keperra, Brisbane. We are a co-educational school catering to the academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of all our students. Our enrolment of over 510 students from Prep to Year 6.

St William's is set on a 4.5-hectare site, with a large oval, covered basketball court, huge hall and multiple playgrounds for different year levels and ages. All our classrooms are air-conditioned, with digital throw-down screens, and all classrooms are extremely well-resourced to help support the teaching and learning needs of our staff and students. We are a One-to-One iPad school, and this program starts in Year 2. We offer specialist subjects in Japanese, Digital and Design Technologies, Performing Arts and PE.

About the opportunity
Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) invites applications for this School Senior Leadership position with the capability to:

  • lead the religious life of the school and build a vibrant Catholic identity within the school community;
  • grow the engagement, progress, achievement and wellbeing of each student in the school; and
  • build a sustainable school community, ensuring stewardship of resources with transparency, accountability and compliance.

About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

  • Experience as an Assistant Principal, Assistant Principal Religious Education, Deputy Principal, Head of Campus or Principal, or a senior role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in teaching, and leading the teaching of, religious education.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
  • For this position you are required to be Catholic (or a faith partner of one of our ecumenical schools).
