Job summary

Sener en Ingeniería is seeking a Principal Consultant, RAM and Safety to lead Safety Assurance, RAM and Systems Assurance on major infrastructure and transportation programs in Australia. You will drive technical leadership, client relationships, and project governance across asset lifecycles, including concept, design, construction, commissioning and renewal.

Strong knowledge of safety frameworks and regulatory obligations is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Science tertiary degree affiliated with Engineers Australia
• 10+ years experience in applying Systems Engineering/Safety Assurance on complex infrastructure/transportation projects
• Experience interpreting requirements of EN 50126/8/9, EN 50657, IEC 61508/ IEC 15288, RSNL, WHT Act
• Sound numerical ability and computer literacy with Isograph RAM/Availability Workbench, Fault Tree+, IBM DOORS, JIRA
• Desirable: formal certification in Functional Safety/Allocation/Apportionment/Verification
• Desirable: ISA Lead Project experience
• Desirable: Chartered Engineer and/or professional engineering/safety body member

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Safety Assurance and RAM services on major infrastructure and transportation projects with best-practice methodologies.
• Provide expert guidance on practical application of safety and RAM requirements per local/international standards.
• Develop Safety Assurance and RAM Strategies/Programs, Hazard Logs and RAM/Functional Safety activities
• Coordinate reviews of safety deliverables with stakeholders and regulatory bodies
• Mentor consultants and contribute to business development and staff development
