AIE Engineering & Construction Management Pty Ltd is seeking a Principal Engineer or Senior Civil Engineer to drive major infrastructure projects across Australia. The role offers location flexibility across our offices in Australia and potential for shareholder opportunities within a family- and employee-owned business.

• Lead and manage a civil engineering team to deliver high quality projects, from concept to commissioning.
• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct site investigations, risk assessments and technical audits.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and key project stakeholders.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior and senior design engineers.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify new opportunities and build long-term client relationships.

Lead and manage a civil engineering team to deliver high quality projects, from concept to commissioning.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum +15 years of hands-on experience in civil design engineering.

Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, OpenRoads Designer, etc) and MS Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Project, Teams, etc).

Excellent knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and regulatory frameworks.

Exceptional communication, leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is highly desirable.
