Job summary

Lookahead is hiring a frontend engineering leader to own the React and Redux codebase within a small, high-skill team. You will still write production code while shaping the frontend direction, including folding a standalone product into the main app and rebuilding the forecasting engine for scale.

You will collaborate directly with product and design, set coding standards, and drive delivery practices. Sydney-based with 50/50 hybrid work after onboarding.

Qualifications

5+ years React and TypeScript experience in production.
Proven track record owning client-side state at high data density.
Desire to keep writing production code and influence architecture.
Experience setting team standards, reviews, and delivery practices.
Sydney-based with full working rights.

Responsibilities

Own direction for the React and Redux codebase and shipping code.
Fold standalone product back into main app and rebuild forecasting engine for scale.
Collaborate with product and design to drive frontend decisions.
Set and enforce frontend standards across peers (code reviews, testing, delivery).
Work directly with product and design rather than taking tickets.
