Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Environmental Consultant to strengthen our environmental offering in Western Australia. You will lead environmental assessment, approvals, and EIS delivery for major road, rail, port, energy and water projects, collaborating with Perth-based Technical Directors and the broader Sustainability and Restoration teams.

You will shape the role around your strengths, with flexibility on full-time or part-time work, and you will drive high-quality, client-focused outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience leading environmental work streams on large infrastructure & renewables projects.
• Familiarity with the consulting industry and an understanding of the market.
• A reputation for delivering high-quality work, building excellent team morale and client relationships.
• Confidence in presenting both internally and externally and developing an internal brand with other business sectors and an external brand with clients.
• Sound knowledge across local infrastructure projects - rail, road, ports, renewables etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessment and approvals for infrastructure and renewables projects.
• Coordinate integrated approvals processes (federal, state and local).
• Coordinate the delivery of Environmental Impact Statements and similar reports.
• Review technical studies and engineering design drawings.
• Deliver multidisciplinary projects with sustainable solutions and client focus.
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
