XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design of an Agent Control Tower. You will define the target architecture, reference patterns, and governance necessary for safe, scalable AI/automation agent delivery across a federated operating model.

The role requires deep expertise in platform architecture, integrations, observability, and executive-level decision-making.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in enterprise/platform architecture in regulated environments.
• Experience designing platform control planes, registries, and governance.
• Strong background in integration architecture, observability, and security-by-design.
• Experience operating across federated delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Define target architecture and reference patterns for the Agent Control Tower and roadmap.
• Translate wiring into implementable architecture covering platforms, governance, and runtime controls.
• Architect and standardize agent registration, approval, validation and policy binding.
• Establish permission-based discovery and cataloging of agents and tools.
• Define orchestration patterns to enable controlled agent invocation and inter-agent interaction.
• Define control points to enforce enterprise guardrails and intervention framework.

Provide architectural leadership to establish an enterprise-wideAgent Orchestration and Management Control Tower. The role will define andguide the implementation of core capabilities that enable safe, scalable andgoverned delivery of AI/automation agents across a federated operating model,while providing a single pane of glass for visibility, control,assurance and intervention.

Key Accountabilities

Architecture & Strategy

• Define the target architecture, reference patterns and roadmap for the AgentControl Tower, aligned to enterprise standards and mining operational riskexpectations.
  
• Translateconceptual wiring into implementable architecture coveringplatforms, integrations, governance, and runtime controls.
  

Agent Lifecycle Governance

• Architectand standardize agent registration, approval, validation and policybinding.
  
• Establish permission‑baseddiscovery and cataloging of agents and tools across business units.
  
• Ensurelifecycle governance is embedded into federated delivery pipelines.
  

Orchestration & Control

• Defineorchestration patterns to enable controlled agent invocation, tool accessand inter‑agent interaction.
