Job summary

Department of Transport and Main Roads QLD in Brisbane is seeking an experienced professional to join the Commercial Contract Management (CCM) unit within the Program Management and Delivery (PMD) Branch. You will support a wide range of contracts across infrastructure delivery, ensuring compliance and VfM outcomes.

The role covers contract strategy, templates, administration from tender to completion, handover and defects liability, as well as claims, disputes and contract analytics.

Program Management and Delivery (PMD) Branch is responsible for ensuring the extensive transport infrastructure works program is aligned to TMR's strategic outcomes and achieves Value for Money (VfM) for the community. PMD is an integral component to bridge the transition between investment decision-making and infrastructure delivery.

Our mission is to drive VfM outcomes for TMR by providing program management and delivery expertise to enable consistent delivery of our evolving infrastructure program. Our purpose is to deliver consistent program management and delivery expertise for an integrated multimodal transport system that is sustainable, innovative and future focused.

This role is part of the Commercial Contract Management (CCM) unit function within PMD which delivers the following Contracts related services to the TMR business.

• Contract strategy, templates and administration support - Manages infrastructure contract forms, templates and models, and provides support from tender through to completion, handover and defects liability. It also oversees contract administration systems and advises on compliance and enforceability.
• Claims, disputes and contract compliance support - supports claims and disputes management, contract analytics, variations, dashboards and compliance oversight across procurement and delivery.
