Job summary

Queensland Corrective Services is hiring a business analyst to perform both business and systems analysis for web app releases and other projects. You will gather detailed requirements, design solutions, and work with stakeholders to implement changes while ensuring alignment with existing standards.

The role requires strong documentation, workshop facilitation, and experience with Microsoft technologies including C#, ASP.NET, Blazor, SQL Server, Power BI and Azure.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft environment (.NET) with C# and SQL Server.
• Design and construction of enterprise systems using structured development practices.
• Relational database design and development experience.
• Understanding of QA activities and processes.
• Systems analysis and design skills.
• Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures.
• Web app development including C#, ASP.NET and Blazor.

Responsibilities

• Perform business and system analysis for web app releases and other projects.
• Work with business to develop detailed business and functional requirements.
• Design solutions that meet requirements while aligning with existing standards.
• Collaborate with business to plan and implement solutions and changes.
• Respond to support queries related to functionality in web and business apps.
• Review and revise requirements and design documentation standards and templates.
• Organise and lead workshops and consultation processes.
• Document requirements and solution designs using standard techniques.
• Maintain application documentation.
