At ConsultJR, we’re looking for a Principal Control Systems Engineer to lead the further development of our established controls capability and strengthen its connection with HV and LV electrical engineering.

Our clients need these disciplines working together. You’ll take responsibility for making that connection stronger.

Lead the detail. Shape the direction.

One moment, you’ll be hands‑on, guiding an engineer through a design challenge. The next, you’ll be advising a client or deciding how we develop our capability and add more value. You might even get our MD out of the office more often.

You’ll work across water and wastewater, energy, resources and industrial infrastructure, supporting contractors with detailed design and asset owners as an owner’s engineer.

Your judgement. Your decisions. Our support. You’ll own your technical decisions and follow them through. You’ll set standards, develop engineers and build client relationships.
