Job summary

SRK Consulting, a global independent advisory from Sydney, seeks a Principal Consultant in Project Evaluation. You will lead technical assessments, valuations and due diligence across minerals projects for Australian and international clients.

Expect to shape strategy, develop business, and mentor a multidisciplinary team. You will bring geology/mining/metallurgy expertise, strong financial skills and a track record in consulting, with VALMIN registration preferred.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Geology, Mine Engineering, Metallurgy or related fields, plus commerce/finance/economics exposure.
Strong financial skills, business acumen and client development background.
Experience in consulting with proven client base and team-building ability.
Knowledge of project evaluation, due diligence and mineral asset valuation.
Geostatistical analysis, geological modelling and Mineral Resource estimation.
Professional registration to sign VALMIN codes.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Management and preparation of technical assessment reports and mineral asset valuations.
Evaluation and technical analysis of mineral projects for due diligence purposes.
Analysis of project technical drivers (costs, budgets and forecasts).
Internal peer review.
Delivering high-quality proposals and technical reports.
Providing optimal solutions and decision support services to management and clients.
Expert witness representation.
