Job summary

Konekt in Australia seeks a Rehabilitation Consultant to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions, enabling sustainable return to work. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, assess clients, and provide guidance across industries to support employment goals.

The role offers flexible work arrangements including WFH with a compressed 9-day fortnight, ongoing training and development, and a generous incentive program within the APM Group.

Qualifications

• Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA as an EP.
• Exposure to Occupational Rehabilitation.
• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Help people return to meaningful employment.
• Deliver services and advice to a variety of industries across the employee lifecycle.
• Evaluate treatment and rehabilitation needs after injuries or illnesses.
• Support clients to identify future employment or training options.
• Perform functional capacity, worksite, or daily living assessments.
• Case management to plan and monitor progress toward return-to-work goals.
• Engage with stakeholders to develop strong partnerships.

In this role, you will:

• Use your specialist knowledge and skills to help people return to meaningful employment
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, delivering services and advice to a variety of industries across the entire employee lifecycle
• Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness
• Support clients to identify future employment or training options
• Perform assessments in your area of clinical expertise – including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or daily living assessments
• Case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return-to-work goals
• Engage with key stakeholders and develop strong relationships that drive successful partnerships
