Job summary

Konekt is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant in Canberra to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions. You will leverage your skills to help clients return to meaningful employment and work as part of a multidisciplinary team across various industries.

The ideal candidate holds tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy and has professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA. Additional perks include flexible work arrangements and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Exposure to Occupational Rehabilitation.
• A current Working with Children Check.

In this role, you will

• Use your specialist knowledge and skills to help people return to meaningful employment
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, delivering services and advice to a variety of industries across the entire employee lifecycle
• Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work‑related or non‑work‑related injury or illness
• Support clients to identify future employment or training options
• Perform assessments in your area of clinical expertise – including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or daily living assessments
• Case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return‑to‑work goals
• Engage with key stakeholders and develop strong relationships that drive successful partnerships
