Job summary

TRS Resourcing is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Vehicle Technicians to join Brisbane's transport sector. Work on prime movers and trailers in a modern workshop, with a stable, long-term role and opportunities for career progression.

You’ll service, diagnose and repair heavy vehicles, ensuring safety and quality, while enjoying competitive hourly rates, overtime and ongoing training within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.
• Experience with prime movers, trailers or heavy commercial vehicles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic capabilities.
• Experience with brakes, suspension, hydraulics and pneumatics is highly regarded.
• Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing prime movers, trailers and heavy transport equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
• Carrying out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Troubleshooting breakdowns and completing repairs efficiently.
• Identifying potential faults before they lead to major repairs.
• Ensuring all work meets safety, compliance and quality standards.
• Working independently and alongside a team of experienced mechanics.

What We're Looking For

• Experience working on prime movers, trailers or heavy commercial vehicles
