Job summary

St Peters Lutheran College Springfield is seeking a dedicated Primary Years Teacher to join the Primary Years team in a 1-year contract starting January 2027. The role covers Prep to Year 6 with planning and delivering engaging learning experiences and fostering strong student relationships.

Applicants should have a teaching qualification and QCT registration, experience in primary education, and familiarity with contemporary assessment practices.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Education and current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration.
• Experience teaching in a Primary school setting.
• Knowledge of contemporary teaching, learning and assessment practices to support diverse student needs.
• Experience with International Baccalaureate (IB) framework is highly regarded.
• Strong classroom management, organisation and time management skills.
• Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.
