Job summary

Christ the King School, Graceville, in partnership with Brisbane Catholic Education, invites applications for a Primary Teacher (Year 3/4) in 2027. This multi-age role requires a dedicated educator who can create engaging learning experiences and support students across development stages within a Catholic framework.

Location: Graceville. Contract: 20 January 2027 – End of 2027. Work hours: Full-time. Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia and hold QCT registration.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
• Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
• Position requires Catholic faith; exemptions may apply depending on circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, learner-centred classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Collaborate with leadership, colleagues and parents to plan and assess student progress.
• Develop and implement quality curriculum and pedagogy; report outcomes to students and families.
• Foster a positive school culture and engage in professional learning to improve outcomes.
• Support students' spiritual and moral development and uphold Catholic values in learning.
