St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Nundah, part of the Brisbane Catholic Education Office, invites applications for a Primary Teacher in a part-time job-share role (one day per week, Monday or Friday) beginning in 2027. The position supports a vibrant, inclusive learning community aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

You will collaborate with a supportive team to provide quality curriculum programs, nurture student wellbeing, and uphold Catholic values.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
• Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.

Responsabilités

• Creating a nurturing and ordered learning environment that is learner-centred, supportive, cooperative, and aligned with relevant curriculum policies, documents and practices.
• Collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy; evaluating their effectiveness; assessing and reporting student progress and learning outcomes; and reporting these to students, parents and the community.
• Working collaboratively with the leadership team, teachers and other staff members in contributing to the professional life of the school and fostering a positive school culture.
• Proactively engaging with professional learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Establishing positive relationships in the pastoral care of students and supporting their spiritual and moral development.
• Ensure that the teachings and values of the Catholic Church form a foundation for learning and teaching.
