Job summary

Livingstone Christian College on the Gold Coast is seeking a Primary Teacher for Foundation Years (Prep to Year 2) on a 2027 Term 1 contract. This full-time role focuses on delivering a faith-centered foundation education within a Christian ethos.

The successful candidate will hold Australian teacher qualifications with QLD registration, bring strong communication and collaboration skills, and model a positive, energetic approach to learning in partnership with families and colleagues.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Teach Foundation Years (Prep to Year 2) with a focus on early primary development.
• Demonstrate and live out Biblical worldview in daily teaching.
• Collaborate with staff to plan and deliver integrated curriculum.
• Engage with families to support student flourishing in a Christian environment.

About You

• You have personal views and beliefs that align with the Christian ethos of the College, and you are able to demonstrate an active faith and church involvement and are able to teach and live from a Biblical worldview.

• You will be an Australian qualified teacher with QLD Teacher's Registration or registration with another state and the ability to obtain QLD Teacher's registration

• Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.

• An energetic and positive attitude.

Remuneration will be set commensurate with experience and qualifications.
