Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher for St Mary's Catholic School, Bowen, commencing 18 January 2027. This full-time fixed-term role runs through 3 December 2027 and requires tertiary teaching qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers.

Salary Range: $86,600 - $124,725 pending experience + Super + Allowances

We'll looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher with tertiary qualifications and registration (or eligibility) with the Queensland College of Teachers. This is aFull Time, Fixed Termposition commencing on18 January 2027and concludes on3 December 2027.

In this unique role, you'll be joining a supportive team of dedicated educators who work closely with families to create the best possible learning experience for every child. Your knowledge of contemporary teaching practices, combined with your ability to adapt and nurture a diverse range of learners, will ensure that each student feels included, valued, and confident as they begin their educational journey.

In your classroom, you'll spark curiosity and a love of learning by designing engaging lessons, setting clear expectations, and continually reflecting on your practice to keep improving. You'll use a range of assessment tools to understand each student's progress, celebrate their growth, and give meaningful feedback that helps them thrive.
