Job description

Mountains Christian College is seeking a passionate and innovative K-6 Teacher who is keen to positively impact the lives of children and young adults in the Upper Blue Mountains.

Mountains Christian College is a growing school, situated on 16 hectares overlooking the beautiful Kanimbla Valley in Blackheath. The College caters for approximately 180 students from K – 12. The College’s vision is developing character, compassion, purpose and learning through Christ.

The successful applicant will:

• Be an active and passionate Christian, able to accept and live out the College’s Statement of Beliefs.
• Be an active member of a Church.
• Have familiarity with the NSW and Australian curriculum.
• Demonstrate a passion for and skill in teaching.
• Be an effective team member.
• Have appropriate tertiary teaching qualifications, including NSW teacher accreditation.
• Hold a current valid Working with Children Check.

This position is a permanent position, commencing in Term 1, 2027.
