St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary Ashbury in Sydney is seeking a part-time Primary Sports Teacher (0.4 FTE) to inspire students through engaging, student-centered PE teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You will bring expertise in developing PE programs and applying effective learning pedagogies, strong classroom management, and a focus on student well-being.

A tertiary Education qualification with NESA accreditation is required, along with a willingness to engage in before/after

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• Experience in delivering primary physical education.
• Ability to create inclusive, student-centered PE lessons.

About You

As a Primary Sports Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in developing a Physical Education and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• at least 1 year of classroom teaching experience
• willingness to attend before and after school events
• willingness to attend weekend mass when required
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
