Job summary

Kip McGrath Education Centre Fairfield is seeking a Primary and Secondary Maths Tutor to deliver engaging maths lessons in small groups and help students build confidence.

You will support both primary and secondary learners, utilise Kip McGrath resources and technology, monitor progress, and communicate achievements with parents while collaborating with the centre team to ensure outstanding outcomes. Consistent weekly hours offered.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Teaching or Education.
• A current Victorian Working with Children Check.
• Strong mathematical knowledge and confidence teaching primary and secondary students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, professional, and reliable approach.
• Strong organisational and computer skills.
• A genuine passion for helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging maths lessons to small groups of students
• Support both primary and secondary students with their individual learning goals
• Create a positive and encouraging learning environment
• Utilise Kip McGrath's teaching resources and technology to deliver lessons
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate lesson records
• Communicate student achievements and areas for development with parents
• Work collaboratively with the centre team to ensure excellent educational outcomes
