Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience in planning for high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring, assessing and providing feedback on student learning.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with students, parents and staff.
• Reflective practice and commitment to professional learning to improve teaching quality.
• Experience teaching beginner instrumental students is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.
• Undertake associated teaching and organisational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Engage with parents and staff to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Participate in induction, professional learning and policy development.
