St Thomas' Primary School in Claremont seeks a passionate Music Specialist Teacher to inspire a lifelong appreciation of music, creativity and performance. The role is a 0.4 FTE ongoing position commencing 1 January 2027, working two days per week within a Catholic school community.

You will deliver high-quality Music lessons, lead choirs for liturgical celebrations and school events, and collaborate with staff, students and families to foster inclusion, wellbeing and creative growth.

Qualifications

• Four-year teaching qualification.
• Current TRBWA registration.
• Experience teaching Music in a primary school setting.
• Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School or willingness to obtain.
• Current Working with Children Check.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging Music lessons aligned to WA Curriculum: The Arts (Music).
• Lead choirs and prepare students for liturgical celebrations and performances.
• Create inclusive and engaging learning environments.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support student wellbeing.
