Job summary

St Kilda Park Primary School in Melbourne’s bayside area is seeking an experienced classroom teacher to deliver high-quality instruction across Foundation to Year 6. Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum including literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and communicating progress to students/parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.
• Ability to deliver a specialist Italian program for primary students.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Develop, implement and evaluate curriculum programs to achieve student outcomes.
• Engage in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Contribute to school policies and priority initiatives and support school community wellbeing.
