Myrtleford P-12 College in Victoria is seeking an Italian Classroom Teacher for a fixed-term assignment. The role focuses on delivering engaging Italian language instruction to a range of learners, incorporating literacy and numeracy skills, and supporting student growth.

The successful candidate will plan high-impact lessons, monitor progress with data, collaborate with families and colleagues, and contribute to school programs that improve outcomes for all students.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning with data-informed feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Develop, implement and evaluate curriculum programs within the school.
• Undertake other classroom duties and organisational tasks as directed by the Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and train student teachers where appropriate.
