Job summary

Alfredton Primary School in Ballarat is seeking a dedicated Education Support professional to join our team as a Teacher Aide. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.45pm, supporting teachers and students within a SWPBS-enabled environment.

You will work under supervision to assist with routines, student wellbeing, and education programs, promoting inclusive practices and student engagement across year levels Foundation to 6.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capacity to perform duties with established guidelines and frameworks.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine support for teachers including planning student routines.
• Support communication between teachers and parents.
• Communicate with teachers on routine matters related to students and responsibilities.
• Provide basic physical care and wellbeing support for students.
• Support coordination of educational programs and rostering.
• Assist with coordination of a team of education support staff under direction.
